People asked to consider buying second hand Xmas gifts

Charity hopes challenge will reduce costs and help environment

A local charity is urging Christmas shoppers to be more green and buy second hand gifts this winter.

Hospice sent out its challenge with the aim of getting people to think before they spend by reducing costs and reusing and recycling second hand items.  

Alison Lester, the retail general manager says they have a lot of hidden gems in their stores from homeware to handbags, dresses to dressers and much more:
