It's aimed to tackle isolation and loneliness
The Save our Cregneash Bus group will begin its winter programme today (24 November) with the intention of tackling loneliness and isolation.
It's also aimed at encouraging more people to use the 8S service, which has seen a decline in passengers with the activities at Cregneash during the colder months.
Christa Viohl says they've introduced the programme of weekly gatherings (every Wednesday) as they were worried about the lack of people using the service.
A launch event will take place from 11am this morning at the Methodist Church Hall in Port Erin featuring a talk from author Staffan Overgaard on his book Vikings- Seven Stories.
