Gov't hopes it will encourage people to do daily exercise
People of all ages and abilities are being called upon to take part in the Island's first ever Fitness Day.
The government hopes the inaugural event will act as a platform for residents to find an activity that ends up turning into a form of daily exercise.
The fitness day is being held on Wednesday, 26 January and will be coordinated by Manx Sport and Recreation.
It will include a number of events, including a free '5k fun run', and people will also be encouraged to try out a new fitness class and challenges set by their local gym or sports club.
