Cost-of-living crisis changing people's buying habits
Changing buying habits, brought about by the rising cost-of-living, are being reflected in the cuts of meat chosen by Manx shoppers.
That's the view of a Ramsey butcher who has told Manx Radio his customers are opting for cheaper cuts to fit their budgets.
Mark Matthews runs W.E Teare's butchers in Parliament Street.
He says concerns over rising costs are forcing people to be more innovative:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
