Director of Harbours says abuse isn't acceptable
Coastguard officers are receiving abuse, in person and online, after trying to stop young people being injured at sea.
That’s according to the director of harbours who's condemned people’s behaviour towards members of the Isle of Man Coastguard.
In recent weeks teams have tried to stop children and teenagers jumping into the sea around harbour areas.
Mark Kenyon says whilst he understands people want to enjoy the sea he's bewildered by the attitudes of some of them:
Chamber: Positive Moneyval assessment vital for Island's future
Prostate cancer pathway available despite lack of screening
More than 200 residential planning applications granted permission but work yet to commence
Aviation safety audit will be 'completely independent'
