Middle MHK Stu Peters says its time for the government to "walk the walk" when it comes to climate change - despite it being a "bugbear" of his.

Tynwald members have spent much of today debating the 2023-24 Budget which was approved, almost unanimously, this afternoon.

Whilst Douglas North MHK David Ashford spoke for around half an hour Mr Peters, who is chair of the Post Office, made his feelings known in around one minute.

He claimed a bid to add solar panels to the roof of the sorting office in the Spring Valley Industrial Estate was denied and said he was told it would be cheaper to import electricity from the UK.
