Fears expensive school gear causing 'financial hardship'
People on the Isle of Man are calling for secondary schools to reduce the requirement for branded uniforms which have been described as 'too expensive' and causing 'financial hardship'.
More than 250 people have signed a new petition.
It follows concerns that the mental health of children, and parents, is being affected leaving those unable to afford uniforms embarrassed.
Retired head teacher Annette Baker is a mum of three boys and a step-daughter.
