Row over local authority interests register
A government department has been accused of making a mockery of Tynwald's petitioning system.
Rae Hamilton of Onchan lodged a petition in 2011 calling for local authority members to declare interests.
But despite a select committee recommending new laws be brought in, they've never been implemented.
Mr Hamilton says he feels let down by the Department of Infrastructure, which has responsibility for local authorities:
Man denies child sexual offence charges at court hearing
Manx Electric Railway being prepared for commuters amid bus strikes
Liverpool ferry terminal to close for two weekends next month
Shaw's Brow car park to be free on weekends
