
Plans for the removal of pews at St German's cathedral in Peel mark a "real step forward" in the future use of the building.
That's according to the Lord Bishop.
The plans have been submitted to the Department of Infrastructure for consideration in what is a registered building.
Bishop Robert says people on the island are beginning to recognise that the cathedral is a national asset and the removal of some pews will make the building more versatile.
