Pharmacist says electronic prescribing can speed up process

Currently, GP's have to review them and sign them off first

A pharmacist on the Isle of Man says once electronic prescribing comes into effect on the Isle of Man patients could get their medication quicker. 

Currently, a GP surgery has to review the prescription and sign off on it.

It then travels to the pharmacy and once the medication is ready, people can collect it. 

However, Nick Kaye, from Kingsley Muti Pharmacy in Ballasalla, says with the use of technology patients can track it and be updated:
