Survey Licence granted
Campaigners bidding to restore a landmark in the north of the Island are celebrating after getting the green light to start work.
A licence has now been granted by the government allowing the Queen’s Pier Restoration Trust so it can begin surveying the iron structure.
If the survey goes well, the organisation will then start work refurbishing the pier later this year.
