MWT warns ill birds could harm other species
The Manx Wildlife Trust is stressing the importance of reporting ill birds to the relevant authorities.
The police's Wildlife Crime Unit and the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture are currently investigating a spate of pigeon deaths thought to be caused by rodent poison.
Tim Graham says he hasn't seen such a widescale case of poisoning on the Island before.
He warns not reporting ill or dead birds could cause problems for other species:
CoMin making 'significant and determined efforts' to implement recommendations from Ranson review
Rain events 'difficult to forecast' on the Isle of Man
Planning permission granted for 26 industrial units
Port St Mary Commissioners urging residents not to 'struggle in silence'
