Currently it must be down no more than 10 days after the Festival of Motorcycling
A planning application's been submitted to extend the length of time the TT and Festival of Motorcycling's hospitality facility can be left up.
It's so it can be used for the new Food and Drink Festival in September.
The application, made by Business Isle of Man, asks for the tent to remain in place beyond the currently permitted 10 days after the motor festival event, instead being up for a total of 30 days.
This year's Festival of Motorcycling finishes on 28 August, with the 'Big Manx Feast' scheduled to take place on the weekend of the 19 and 20 September.
The location was said to have been chosen because it provides a considerable cost-saving and experience benefit with its 'unique' set-up of suspended flooring, which mitigates a considerable number of risks associated with potential adverse weather, including shelter for exhibitors and attendees.
