Duke Street site currently registered for retail
Plans have been submitted to turn a Douglas shop into a children's play area.
Permission is being sought to change the use of 9-11 Duke Street, which is currently registered as a retail area.
No changes would be made to the layout of the building.
If given the go-ahead, the facility would be in use seven days a week, and expects to host 20-25 children each day.
