Plans for new control tower unveiled

Ronaldsway Airport will have a new air traffic control tower, 35 metres in height, if Tynwald approves a £6 million scheme later this month.

It would be built on a 'green' site close to the existing structure, which has been in use since the 1950s.

Airport Director Anne Reynolds says there are a number of reasons why the old building needs to be replaced (audio file attached):
