Two buildings will need to be demolished first
A planning application has been submitted to build retail outlets and eight new apartments in Ramsey.
Two separate planning applications have already been submitted to demolish existing buildings on the site at 22 Parliament Street and 6 West Quay in Ramsey.
McGarrigle Architects Ltd submitted the plans, which are designed to be "traditional in appearance" to fit in with the surrounding architecture.
Glazed balconies will be flush with the elevation and the roof will be natural slate.
