Health minister gives update on progress of replacement care home
Plans to replace the Cummal Mooar care home are 'on track' according to the health minister.
Last August, an attempt to close the Ramsey facility before a replacement was built was 'put on hold' after concerns were raised by residents and their families.
The Department of Health and Social Care is now working with Manx Care to ensure the design of the proposed new building is fit for purpose, before returning to Treasury for updated funding approval.
