Release of sky lanterns and helium balloons now banned
The Manx Wildlife Trust says the Isle of Man becoming plastic-free is now an 'achievable vision'.
A consultation is asking the public for their views on whether the sale, and distribution, of single-use items should be banned on the Island.
The sale and release of sky lanterns - and the release of helium balloons - known for causing harm to the environment has now been prohibited here.
