
Plastic litter is fast becoming the scourge of the Island's beautiful beaches.
A new survey by the Marine Conservation Society has found plastic littering is at it highest level since records began, with plastic now accounting for 58 per cent of all debris found on United Kingdom beaches.
Dru Leoidsson is a volunteer for the society and carried out surveys on Castletown and Derbyhaven beaches.
