A grieving dog owner has urged the driver of a car which killed her dog to come forward.
Cheri Crompton’s 17 month old black and white springer spaniel was killed sometime between 5pm and 5.30pm on Friday teatime close to the Balthane industrial estate entrance in Ballasalla.
Police say a silver car struck the pet and continued south without stopping.
Cheri says while she doesn’t blame the driver, she hopes their conscience will be pricked.
Cheri can be contacted on 201215.
