Sponsoring department speaks out against Board
The Chair of the Post Office says she's unsure what motivated criticism of the conduct of her board.
Julie Edge MHK was speaking after Tynwald voted in favour of the Isle of Man Post Office's five-year business case and the report of the board's strategic recommendations.
All three sets of amendments failed to win support with a vote of 15 to eight in the House of Keys and five to three in the Legislative Council.
Over the three-hour-long debate, all political members from the Department for Enterprise - the sponsoring department of the Post Office - spoke out against Ms Edge and the Board
