
A prominent opponent of the Poacher's Pocket development in Ballasalla is optimistic about the Tynwald Select Committee charged with looking into the matter.
Secretary of the Ballasalla and District Residents' Association David Allsebrook (pictured) hopes it could eliminate the type of errors which've dogged the site plans.
Multiple changes to the proposals, including issues concerning the drainage and sanitation, have been the subject of a long-running dispute between village residents and the property company.
And Mr Allsebrook says the local community will make sure its voice is heard during the select committee's investigations:
