Pod provides respite for younger hospital patients

New facility set up by local charity

Teenagers and young adults with chronic and life-threatening conditions now have a new, purpose-built facility for them.

The 'Pod' is the brainchild of Bridge the Gap - the Manx charity has gifted it to Noble's Hospital, with running costs being met by the health department.

It was officially opened by Minister David Ashford on Friday afternoon.
