Police are appealing for information after a man’s body was found on Glen Mooar beach in Kirk Michael on Saturday morning.
The man, in his 50s, was discovered at around 9.40am.
Police say they’re ‘keeping an open mind’ and don’t believe they are seeking anyone else in relation to the incident, although they would like to speak to anyone who’s been in the area of Glen Mooar beach since Friday evening.
While the circumstances surrounding the death are 'unexplained', they believe there’s no concern for other members of the public.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed.
