Car fails to stop at red light
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 'near miss' at a pedestrian crossing in Ramsey.
It happened at around 5.25pm yesterday (1 April) at the junction of Bowring Road and North Shore Road.
Officers say a silver hatchback failed to stop at a red light – at the time two people were crossing the road; one of whom was nearly struck.
Anyone who saw what happened, or the driver of the vehicle in question, is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
