Police continue to patrol access lane being used as cut through

Nine motorists stopped

Police say they will continue to do 'spot checks' on an access lane they think is being used by people looking for a short cut.

This week they've stopped, and spoken to, nine motorists using Peveril Road in Peel.

It's after a woman was hit by a car whilst walking her child home from school.

Officers say they will patrol in the area and educate drivers who use the road, which leads to Mountain View, as a cut through.
