Initiative could help save lives
As the number of bikers on the Island's roads reach a peak over the coming days, police have been encouraging the use of crash cards.
The initiative sees riders attach a green dot to their helmet, to show that they have a card inside the helmet with their medical details.
Sergeant Andy Reid says whilst they do everything they can to try and prevent accidents around the Island's roads, the cards are an excellent idea for riders should they have a spill.
