Peel has a new top policeman from today.
He's Mark Britton, who has been promoted to the rank of Inspector and now heads the Western Neighbourhood Policing team.
Inspector Britton (pictured) says his priorities are youth issues, road safety and community policing.
He says these are linked to the overall goal of protection of the family and social inclusion, to which his team is 100 per cent committed.
And he is promising the principle of his leadership will be to Inform, Involve, Consult and Police.
Inspector Britton's move to Peel is one of a many promotions and duty changes announced by the force.
