Police hunt dog owner after sheep attack

Second incident in two days

Police are hunting an irresponsible dog owner whose pet meant a heavily pregnant sheep had to have its lambs aborted.

The incident happened between 3pm yesterday (Thursday) and 11am today (Friday).

Officers say it happened near the old railway line in Sulby, and comes just a single day after the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture warned dog-walkers about their pets’ behaviour during lambing season.
