Knocked visitor off bike but drove away
Police are investigating after a local driver knocked a visiting biker off his motorcycle – but drove off afterwards.
The incident happened at 8.20am today (Monday) when the black bike turned out of Captains Hill in Laxey towards Douglas and was hit by a white or silver Vauxhall Astra which came out of Mines Road.
The driver stopped further down the road but drove off when the biker got up – he suffered minor injuries, and the collision caused considerable damage to his bike.
