Police issue picture of knife

Police searching for the knife used in an alleged incident in Oak Avenue, Pulrose in the early hours of last Friday morning, have issued a photograph of one of similar design.

It's believed to be a 'Judge Sabatier' paring knife, with a three and a half inch blade and a black and silver soft grip handle

They are delighted with the response to a request for information, particularly from resident of the Pulrose area, but are asking members of the public to look out for the implement.

If anyone finds such a knife they are asked to contact Police immediately and arrangements will be made for an officer to recover it.

Two men who were injured in the alleged incident have both now been released from Noble's Hospital following treatment.

Officers are re-assuring the community that incidents involving knives are rare and everything will be done to ensure the community continues to feel safe.

A man is in custody, charged with wounding with intent to murder two men.

A woman is accused of assisting an offender, in relation to the same alleged incident.
