Officers dismiss social media 'nonsense' about enforcement
Don’t believe the hype, say police – speed limits are real and breaking them will land you in trouble.
Officers say they’ve spotted posts on a TT Facebook group telling people the Island’s limits are only recommendations that can be ignored because they're not enforceable.
But the Roads Policing Unit says if you’re caught breaking the speed limit you can expect penalty points and a fine or even a court appearance for speeding.
