Officers urging people to seek help during World Cup period
Police say they’re ‘on the ball’ and ready to tackle domestic abuse head on.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says it’s important that perpetrators are dealt with properly and are continuing to develop their skills in dealing with incidents.
Officers are running an awareness campaign over the World Cup period to urge people to behave responsibly on licensed premises, behind the wheel and at home with loved ones.
Inspector Sam Cannell heads up the Multi-Agency Public Protection Unit and says they’ll always try to support victims of abuse and their families:
