Police plea to 'park considerately' around Island's countryside

Officers receive reports of blocked access roads

Please be careful where you park if you're heading to enjoy one of the Island's glens or plantations.

That's the plea from police, following a number of reports that cars have been blocking access points to Cornaa and Ballaglass.

Officers are warning that farmers haven't been able to access their fields, and emergency service vehicles may need to use them.

The force says it wants people to enjoy the countryside, but to park considerately.
