Police probe campervan collision

'Extensive damage' caused in Ballaugh car park

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorhome collided with a car causing ‘extensive damage’.

It happened at around 6.15pm on Thursday (25 August).

Officers say the grey Ford Kuga was struck whilst it was parked, and unattended, in a car park at Ballaugh Beach.

They believe a grey or white Suntour Kontiki motorhome, on Manx plates, was responsible and say it’s unlikely that the driver was unaware of the collision.

The owner of the campervan – or anyone with information about what happened – is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
