As gale force winds batter the Island this evening (Thursday), police are urging motorists to take extra care.
Debris has been making driving potentially hazardous and trees have fallen on a number of roads.
Routes have been wholly or partially blocked at Laurel Bank, Ballig Bridge and Glen Duff.
Trees were also down on the Glenmooar Loop Road at St John's and at Kerrowmoar, near the Ginger Hall.
