Drugs found in vehicle which came over on the boat
Police say they seized around £15,000-worth of cannabis resin from a vehicle which had travelled on the overnight boat from Heysham on Monday.
Three men from the north west of England have been arrested in connection with the seizure.
The three have been bailed and inquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Vinny Lund of The Proactive Team says "Coming so soon after a much larger seizure it does demonstrate the continual nature of drug trafficking to the Island.
"The public can assist us when travelling by remaining vigilant and reporting any suspicious activity."
