Police had to close the Mountain Road briefly this morning after three people were seen walking along the route.
Officers say they had to get them off the road for safety reasons, and whilst it isn't illegal they 'have to question the walkers' sanity'.
People are urged to stick to the other, many picturesque walks on the Island and not to walk on de-restricted, one-way roads.
