
The chief constable says his officers will be dedicated to maintaining a community focus, despite having to make £600,000-worth of savings in the coming financial year.
Mike Langdon appeared live on Talking Heads on Manx Radio this lunchtime to speak about the cuts.
The money will be saved by, among other things, closing Onchan and Braddan police stations and disbanding the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team.
