Police urge domestic abuse victims to speak up during World Cup

Incidences typically rise during football tournament

As the World Cup gets underway in Qatar police are urging anyone facing domestic abuse to speak up.

The Isle of Man Constabulary says incidents of domestic abuse can rise by 38 percent when England lose a match.

If you suspect domestic abuse is occurring you should call 685969 and if you're in immediate danger 999.
