Tynwald members lead tributes to Tony Wild
Politicians have been paying tribute to former MLC Tony Wild who has passed away.
Mr Wild, who was 61, served on the Legislative Council from 2011 until 2017.
Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson has written on his Facebook page saying "Tony was a real gentleman and a valuable addition to Tynwald. He had a quiet manner but a sharp mind which could get to the nub of a problem."
Mr Watterson adds that he and Tim Crookall MLC were due to have lunch with Mr Wild on Monday but it was not to be.
Mr Crookall has also commented saying "He will be very much missed by his family and friends and my thoughts are with them at this sad time."
