Politicians urged to study sea service reports

It’s unlikely cruise liner berths in Douglas Harbour would prove cost-effective.

So says a spokesman for passenger watchdog TravelWatch as Tynwald prepares to consider new reports from off-Island consultants assessing the future of sea services.

The Strategic Sea Services Policy sets out eight overarching principles.

John Pennington says there’s much to consider and politicians needs to study the reports in detail.
