Port Erin Coastguard was called to rescue a dog after it had fallen over a cliff yesterday afternoon.
Members were alerted just before 6.30pm about Arlo the pup, who fell from Bradda Head.
Upon arrival the team found him perched on the edge of a cliff at the bottom of a scree chute.
A technician was deployed and recovered the pooch carefully up the cliff.
Fortunately Arlo had not received any injuries during his ordeal and was safely returned to his owners.
