He plans to continue in summer 2023
A Manx resident, who is attempting to walk the length of the equator, has had to pause his challenge due to issues with Brexit and the war in Ukraine.
Steven Primrose-Smith left the Island on 1 April on a 25,000-mile trip which he expected to take him seven years.
So far he's walked from the Isle of Man through Birmingham, London, France, Brussels, the Netherlands and Germany.
But with five per cent – and 2,000 miles – under his belt he’s made the decision to return to the Island saying he needs to raise more money to overcome the obstacles in his path.
He's told Manx Radio he won't give up but the challenge may take longer than expected:
