The Isle of Man Post Office says it's committed to maintaining services in Port St Mary.
It's after Torden Stores announced it's closing down later this month.
The Port St Mary Post Office which operates out of the shop and says it will 'invite expressions of interest from organisations interested in providing services in the village'.
It adds 'In the meantime, customers can continue to access a full range of postal services at Castletown and Port Erin Post Offices.'
Torden Stores will be opening between Monday and Thursday for the next two weeks.
