Services would be provided on a commission basis
The Post Office is looking to advance the transition of its retail network with the recruitment of 'host' businesses in Onchan, Foxdale and Jurby.
New partner businesses would be expected to provide postal counter services, returns processing, online postage drop-off services, and the sale of postage for letters and parcels for local, UK and International destinations.
The Post Office says services would be provided on a commission basis, and that while both staffed and postal counters and self-service kiosks will be considered, priority will be given to businesses able to provide a counter service.
The ongoing transition has seen the closure of several dedicated sub-post offices around the Island in favour of partnership arrangements with local businesses.
