The Manx Electricity Authority says power has been restored to Onchan (8am).
A large number of people woke up this morning (Tuesday) to find they were without power.
Engineers were sent to investigate at around 7.30am, and quickly reconnected supplies.
The outage is thought to have been caused by the weather.
The two primary schools in the village have confirmed they will be open as normal today.
