Alfred Cannan discusses what powers might be 'helpful' in top role
Alfred Cannan has told a Tynwald committee that giving a Chief Minister greater powers might help in getting difficult decisions through.
Mr Cannan was giving evidence on the Ministerial System to the Tynwald Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice.
He was asked what changes he might like to see in the present Ministerial system and in particular in the role of Chief Minister:
