Hailed as best classic meeting
There was high praise for the Festival of Jurby, from some of the classic bike experts who attended yesterday.
As has become the norm, many thousands of motorcycle fans headed north to the old airfield, with the added treat of a display from a Hurricane and a Spitfire to draw even more people up there.
Among the enthusiasts and people displaying their machines was New York tuner-collector Rob Iannucci of Team Obselete, who take rare old grand prix bikes to meetings such as this to display and race.
He was very complimentary about the festival:
Search launched after emergency beacon signal activated
Fuel costs 'likely to rise' amid Middle East conflict
Ramsey Commissioners redacted information 'without justification' in FoI response
Death of MGP competitor deemed accidental by inquest
