
Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw says the director of social services will be missed when he retires this month.
Andrew Swithinbank, who’s headed the social services division for four years, will take early retirement as the department reorganises to save money.
Mr Robertshaw says he’s made an invaluable contribution to social services on the Island.
But he says it shows government is looking to make savings across all levels.
